Installation and commissioning
Assembly, initial verification and handover of the device in operation.
What it involves
A medical device is not delivered when it arrives at the institution, but when it works and the staff knows how to use it. Quirurgil receives the device, installs it, checks it against the manufacturer's protocol and leaves it running, with the documentation the biomedical department needs for the device's service record.
Before installing
- Site review: space, power supply, medical gases and data network where applicable
- Date and time agreed with the department, so the service is not interrupted
What the installation covers
- Unpacking and checking the device against the packing list
- Assembly and installation in the planned location, with the matching accessories
- Verification of the electrical and gas connections the device requires
- Operating tests and initial calibration following the manufacturer's protocol
- Handover training for the clinical staff and the biomedical department
- Installation record and technical documentation for the device's service record
