Maintenance contract
Annual preventive maintenance plans with spare parts, response times and reports.
What it involves
An annual contract changes the logic: instead of calling once the device has already failed, maintenance is scheduled, the cost for the year is known from the start and the institution keeps its reports up to date for audit and accreditation.
What the contract sets out
- The list of devices covered, with brand, model and serial number
- How often each device gets a preventive visit
- The agreed response times for corrective service
- The scope of spare parts: which are included and which are quoted separately
- The reports and certificates handed over at each visit
Why it is worth it
- The cost for the year is known in advance, with no surprises from a breakdown
- Preventive visits are scheduled and do not depend on someone remembering
- Each device's service record stays up to date
- Less time with the device out of service
