A body composition analyser using direct segmental multi frequency bioelectrical impedance. It takes 10 impedance measurements using two frequencies, 20 and 100 kilohertz, at each of the five body segments: right arm, left arm, trunk, right leg and left leg. It uses no empirical estimation: it does not infer values from age or sex. The test takes about 17 seconds.

What it brings

  • Direct segmental multi frequency bioelectrical impedance, DSM-BIA
  • 10 impedance measurements, at 20 and 100 kilohertz, across five segments
  • Eight tactile electrodes in a tetrapolar arrangement
  • No empirical estimation: it does not infer values from age or sex
  • A test of about 17 seconds
  • Results on screen and on the thermal slip: weight, muscle mass, percent body fat, body mass index, basal metabolic rate, waist hip ratio and visceral fat level
  • With the Lookin'Body120 software it delivers the full report, with segmental analysis and history
  • It runs on the adapter or on four AA batteries
  • It weighs 4.3 kilos, or 5.7 with its optional stand
  • Interface in 24 languages

Where it is used

  • Aesthetic medicine
  • Nutrition
  • Aesthetic clinic
  • Outpatient care
